Banner Corporation reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was USD 142.52 million compared to USD 129.01 million a year ago. Net income was USD 39.59 million compared to USD 47.97 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.15 compared to USD 1.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.15 compared to USD 1.39 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was USD 295.83 million compared to USD 247.67 million a year ago. Net income was USD 95.15 million compared to USD 91.93 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.77 compared to USD 2.68 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.76 compared to USD 2.66 a year ago.
