Extension of deadline to release financial results

Shareholders of Bayport Management Ltd ("Bayport" or the "Company") are referred to the announcement released by Bayport on 29 March 2024 whereby the Board of the Company (the"Board") announced that the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd ("SEM") approved the extension of the deadline to publish Bayport's abridged audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023 ("audited financial statements"), until 30 April 2024.

The Board would like to apprise its shareholders and the general public that the audited financial statements are still under preparation, which process has taken longer than expected. As such, the Company was not in a position to publish the said results within the extended timeframe.

Consequently, and following an application made to the SEM, the Company has obtained formal approval from the SEM to further extend the deadline for publishing the Company's abridged audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023 by an additional two months, i.e. until Monday, 1 July 2024.

Furthermore, given the interim (quarterly) report for the quarter ended 31 March 2024 can only be finalised following completion of the audit process, the Company will also not be able to publish its abridged unaudited financial statements for the three months ended 31 March 2024 within the 45-day deadline. The SEM has accordingly also granted Bayport an extension until 1 July 2024 to publish its abridged unaudited financial statements for the three months ended 31 March 2024.
