Beamz Interactive, Inc. announced that Nadine Robinson, Librarian & Assistant Branch Manager of the Jan Moran Collier City Learning Library will be presenting the value of using the Beamz Interactive music product during the Cyberzone session on May 9, 2014 at the 2014 Annual Florida Library Association Conference held at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel in Lake Buena, FL from May 7-9, 2014. The Cyberzone session will provide attendees an opportunity to experience cutting-edge technology products presented by libraries throughout Florida that have adopted innovative technologies with proven value through use in the programs and services currently offered. Beamz is in use at the Jan Moran Collier City Learning Library for its youth services program offerings.

Beamz and other technology products are available for the kids to develop new skills and to understand how technology products may help them learn and thrive in life. As a music making laser controller deploying MIDI technology, Beamz captures the attention of the kids and provides them a unique creative outlet to make music and to share their interactive music creations with friends. Beamz interactive music is like Apple's Garage Band in reverse, without the music production work.

Throughout the Beamz music library there are hundreds of instruments to experience with interactive music songs from all music genres and styles, including jam songs made in the style of iconic and today's chart topping artists. The interactive music is pre-programmed so that anyone can start making great sounding music within minutes, regardless of experience playing traditional instruments. Within each Beamz interactive song there are 12 different instruments and music clips that may be added into the playback of a rhythm track, using the laser beams of the Beamz interactive music product as the instrument.

Interactive songs are made so that kids may creatively play the songs however they wish, selecting which instruments to include in the music making of a Beamz interactive song. As users get familiar with Beamz and its variety of interactive songs, the music making process and interaction with the laser beams becomes a highly-engaging and immersive experience for children of all abilities.
