Beamz Interactive, Inc. launched its Beamz Therapy Bundle which features the newly published Beamz Therapy Guide, created in partnership with the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Temple University. This product is targeted for therapists serving broad client populations in a variety of settings including pediatric & child services, geriatric & long-term care facilities, disability day care programs & camps, behavioral health programs and home-care therapy services. This new therapy package features the Beamz Professional Edition Laser Controller and cross-platform player software with 50 songs and an activity guide for educators, therapists and professionals, Beamz Studio software for editing and creating interactive songs, a soft case and the Beamz Therapy Guide, which features 15 protocols and measurement tools plus 30 additional Beamz songs paired to use with the protocols (MSRP $499.95).

The Beamz Therapy Guide is available for purchase separately for $149.95. The Beamz Therapy Guide authors include Rhonda Nelson, Ph.D., an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Temple University, and Aurora Crew, CTRS, Director of Therapeutic Recreation at Waverly Heights, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Gladwyne, PA. The Guide was created with input from 30 therapists who work in a variety of settings with diverse client populations.

These therapists provided feedback on the protocols after implementing them with clients at their facilities. They recognized the interactive music opportunities facilitated through the Beamz addressed a broad range of goals for a diverse set of clients. In addition to protocols, the Beamz Therapy Guide provides a number of useful tools including: Potential Goals and Outcomes, Suggested Measurements Tools, Session Forms, a Song Index to identify music selections based on client preferences, and the Interactive Music Glossary with definitions of song types.
