Benguet Corporation is a Philippines-based mining company. The Company is engaged in gold, nickel and other metallic and nonmetallic mineral production, exploration, research and development and natural resource projects. The Company operates through four segments: mining, health services, logistics and other. The mining segment is engaged in exploration, nickel and gold mining operations. The health services segment is engaged in the business of offering medical and clinical diagnostic examinations and health care services on pre-employment. The logistics segment is engaged in logistics services to the supply-chain requirements of various industries. The other segments are comprised of aggregated operating segments of the Company who are engaged in research, development, real estate and water projects. The Companyâs mining operations include Acupan Gold Project, Balatoc Tailings Project and Sta. Cruz Nickel Project.
