BGSF, Inc. Approves Appointment of John Barnett as Secretary of the Company, Effective March 20, 2023

On March 3, 2023, the board of directors of BGSF, Inc. approved the appointment of John Barnett, age 56, as secretary of the company, effective March 20, 2023. Mr. Barnett has 25 years of experience in finance, strategy, M&A, accounting, and FP&A. Prior to BGSF, Mr. Barnett served as Chief Financial Officer of Protective Insurance from October 2019 to February 2022, and as Chief Financial Officer of First Acceptance from November 2018 to September 2019. He also served as Vice President, Finance, for Broadcast Music, Inc. from March 2013 to November 2018, and in senior leadership roles with Anheuser-Busch.
Barnett earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Early in his career, Barnett served in the U.S. Army advancing to the rank of Captain.
