BHP Group announced resignation of Diane Jurgens as Chief Technology Officer in early 2020. After 14 years abroad, Ms. Jurgens has decided to move back to the United States to pursue other opportunities and to be closer to her family. Ms Jurgens joined BHP in 2015, and was appointed Chief Technology Officer in February 2016. She played a key role in establishing technology throughout BHP value chain, including a new operating model that brought together research & development, operational and information technology, and enhanced company-wide cybersecurity and technical capability. Rag Udd, currently Vice President Technology Global Transformation, has been appointed Acting Chief Technology Officer, effective 14 December 2019.
