Birks Group Inc. is a Canada-based designer of fine jewelry and operator of luxury jewelry, timepieces and gifts retail stores in Canada, with wholesale customers in North America, the European Union, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. The Company operates through two segments Retail and Other. Its Retail segment operates over 21 stores across Canada under the Maison Birks brand, one retail location in Calgary under the Brinkhaus brand, two retail locations in Vancouver under the Graff and Patek Philippe brands, and one retail location in Laval under the Breitling brand. Its Other segment consists primarily of e-commerce business, wholesale business and gold exchange program. The Companyâs fine jewelry collections are also available through SAKS Fifth Avenue stores in Canada and the United States, select Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths locations in the United Kingdom, in Mayors stores in the United States, as well as at certain jewelry retailers across North America and in Europe.
