Boill Healthcare Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the six months ended September 30, 2019. For the six months, the company announced that based on the Board's preliminary assessment of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended September 30, 2019 (the "Period"), the Group is expected to record a consolidated net loss of approximately HKD 49 million for the Period. The consolidated net loss for the Period is expected to decrease as compared with the consolidated net loss for the six months ended 30 September 2018. Such expected substantial consolidated net loss for the Period was mainly due to the following: the revenue of sales of properties has dropped more than 40% for the Period as compared with the corresponding six months ended 30 September 2018 resulting from the weakened demand of the potential home-buying customers due to deterioration of their overall financial condition brought by the uncertain global macro-economic environment; and the construction of the project in Shanghai has not yet been completed and no revenue has been recognized while the cost incurred for daily operation was not less than HKD 5 million for the Period (2018: approximately HKD 12 million), which was offset by the increase in fair value gains on investment properties under construction of approximately HKD 44 million for the Period (2018: approximately HKD 0.6 million) due to the general upward trend in property market of Mainland China.
