Boliden signs a EUR 850 million revolving credit facilities agreement

Boliden, together with 11 banks, has signed a syndicated revolving credit facilities agreement totalling EUR 850 million. The revolving credit facilities comprise two tranches: a five-year EUR 450 million tranche and a three-year EUR 400 million tranche. Both tranches have two one-year extension options. The facilities replace existing revolving credit facilities of EUR 770 million comprising a EUR 408 million tranche and a EUR 362 million tranche that matures in 2025 and 2023 respectively.

"This credit facility strengthens Boliden's liquidity reserve at improved terms and increases our financial flexibility. Together with a strong balance sheet it supports Boliden's continued investments in metals that are critical to the development of society," says Håkan Gabrielsson, Boliden's CFO. 

 

Nordea acted as Coordinating Bookrunner and Mandated Lead Arranger for the facilities and Danske Bank is the Facility Agent. The Bookrunners and Mandated Lead Arrangers are Danske Bank A/S, DNB Bank ASA, Sweden Branch, Nordea Bank Abp, filial i Sverige, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) and Swedbank AB (publ), Bank of Montreal, London Branch, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs Bank USA, ING Bank, A Branch of ING-DIBA AG, J.P. Morgan SE and Royal Bank of Canada joined as Mandated Lead Arrangers in the facilities.
