BuySell Technologies Co.,Ltd. (TSE:7685) agreed to acquire Four-Nine,Inc from Ryoichi Imai on May 13, 2022. For the year ended March 31, 2022, Four-Nine had ¥226.28 million of Net assets, ¥425.54 million of total assets, ¥2349.19 million of revenues. Transaction is expected to close during July 2022.
BuySell Technologies Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the online reuse business. The Company is engaged in the provision of Speed Kaitori and Kaitori Premium platforms that provide comprehensive reuse services through three methods, including business trip visit purchase, home delivery purchase and carry-in purchase. The main products handled are kimonos, stamps, old coins, precious metals, jewelry, branded goods, watches, antiques, fur, liquor and other products. The sales business is mainly engaged in the corporate sales business through the secondhand goods market and auctions for vendors, as well as the provision of an electronic commerce (EC) site Speed Kaitori Online for general consumers. The Company is also engaged in the operation of a smartphone app CAPPY that can sale used cars. The Company is engaged in the provision of marketing, call center, authenticity appraisal and assessment, purchase, inventory management, sale and other reuse related services.
