C'sMEN Co.,Ltd. (JASDAQ:3083) signed an agreement to acquire 40.2% stake in Peet Co., Ltd. for ¥40.1 million on July 11, 2018. Under the terms of the transaction, C'sMEN Co.,Ltd. will acquire 0.04 million shares at ¥1,040 per share. Upon completion, Peet Co., Ltd. will operate as subsidiary of C'sMEN Co.,Ltd. For the year ended July 2017, Peet Co., Ltd. reported total assets of ¥2.9 billion, net assets of ¥561 million, sales of ¥4.2 billion, operating income of ¥66 million, and net income of ¥22 million. The transaction was resolved by the Board of C'sMEN Co.,Ltd. The transaction is expected to close on July 11, 2018. Plus Sum Consulting Co., Ltd. acted for calculating acquisition price.
