Calidus Resources Limited announced the appointment of Richard McLeod as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McLeod has over 45 years of industry experience in operational and mine management roles. He was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at Macmahon where he was instrumental in delivering year-on-year results and was accountable for operational and growth results for the open-pit, underground and civil in Australia and International jurisdictions.

Prior to Macmahon, Mr. McLeod spent 14 years with Anglo Gold Ashanti, providing international support in Africa, Brazil and Australia including the last nine years in senior management roles at the Tropicana and Sunrise Dam projects. Mr. McLeod has extensive open-pit and underground gold mining knowledge and has a reputation for driving innovation and positive change across the WA industry. He has fostered positive cultures on mine sites and is well known for being a strong believer in his people and success.

His appointment will allow Paul Brennan to focus on delivering near-term profitable ounces from deposits within the Haoma Joint Venture located on granted Mining Leases, commencing with the Blue Bar and Bulletin high-grade open-pit deposits.
