Comment regarding Huntington Beach Oil Spill

The oil spill that occurred offshore Huntington Beach is a tragedy and we are deeply concerned about its impacts. The spill is not connected to California Resources Corporation (CRC) or its operations. CRC is cooperating with authorities to protect environmentally sensitive areas at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and will continue to look for ways to help in the response.

CRC does not own or operate any offshore platforms in federal waters. A subsidiary of CRC operates one platform in state waters near Huntington Beach with a small amount of production and no processing facilities. This facility has not been impacted nor is it involved in any way in the current situation. CRC's assets are located primarily in the San Joaquin basin of Central California and on man-made islands in the Long Beach harbor area of the Los Angeles basin.
