We were overwhelmed by the quality of applications we received. This made it a tough job for our judging panel to narrow the research proposals down! However, we could only pick three winning applications...

Primary Award

Julius Rave at University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) - Exploring structural and functional changes in memory-associated networks in patients expressing cognitive deficits after a COVID-19 infection.

Secondary Awards

Pim Heckman at Maastricht University - Clearing the COVID-19 cognitive brain fog with Cantab: memory complaints mediated by sleep loss.

Jamileth More De La Cruz at Hospital Clínico Universidad de Chile - Cognitive assessment of COVID-19 patients survivors of mechanical ventilation.

We are really looking forward to seeing the results of these projects and working with all applicants in the future.

We'd also like to thank everyone who entered, for their interest in CANTAB. We really appreciate the time and effort involved in submitting your application. We wish you well in your research and invite you to keep an eye on our website and social media channels to be the first to learn about the launch of the CANTAB Research Grant for 2022.
