Carrier AquaEdge 19DV Centrifugal Chiller Series in Japan
Tokyo, Japan, May 1, 2024 - Carrier Japan Corporation (CJC) announced that it will launch the Carrier AquaEdge™ 19DV centrifugal chiller series in May as a part of its HVAC solutions for large- scale facilities offerings. CJC is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
Carrier's centrifugal chillers, with more than 100 years of history, are commercially available across the world and support customers' decarbonization journey as sustainable solutions for facilities such as urban centers and large-scale industrial complexes. As a part of CJC's commitment to delivering comprehensive applied solutions, the AquaEdge 19DV series complements Universal Smart X series, a best-seller modular chiller series in Japan.

Key features of the AquaEdge 19DV centrifugal chiller include:
Product offering that can respond flexibly to customer requirements in capacity, size, and efficiency
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for high-efficiency operation
Use of R1233zd(E), non-flammable,non-toxic, and ultra-low GWP (~1) refrigerant, mitigating environmental impact and requiring no regulatory action relevant to high-pressure refrigerants
Oil system free and durable ceramic bearing system for economical operation
Color touch screen for ease of use and graphics of key components with multi-language support
