CCC S.A. (WSE:CCC), the leader of the Polish footwear market that is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), has notified the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) of an intention to take over Rawaki sp. Zoo, which engages in both retail sale and wholesale and which sells clothing, accessories and sports shoes of such brands as Roxy, Billabong or Quiksilver. Commenting on the matter, Janusz Pieta, analyst at the brokerage house of mBank, notes that the main aim of the transaction is to acquire brand licences, which indicates that CCC continues to develop its own brand portfolio.
