Cellnex Telecom Announces Federico Protto Will Be Part of its Executive Committee as Head of One of the Five Main Markets in Europe and Cluster Formed by Italy, Switzerland and Austria

Cellnex Telecom has announced the appointment of Federico Protto as the new CEO of Cellnex Italia, replacing Luca Luciani who has left the company after less than five months at the helm. Protto, who will formally join Cellnex at the end of March 2024, will report directly to CEO Marco Patuano and will be part of company's Executive Committee as head of one of the five main Cellnex markets in Europe and the cluster formed by Italy, Switzerland and Austria.

Income breaks down by activity as follows: - leasing out of telecoms infrastructures (90.9%): mainly intended for mobile phone operators; - operation of radio broadcasting networks (5.7%); - other (3.4%): in particular, provision of networking services.
