Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A ("Company" or "Eletrobras") (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O & XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general, that, on this date, sold its entire equity interest (1.56%) in Companhia Energética de Pernambuco - CELPE ("Neoenergia Pernambuco"), corresponding to 20,137 common shares (CEPE3) and 1,146,011 preferred shares - 1,138,396 shares (CEPE5) and 7,615 shares (CEPE6) -, through a Public Offering of Acquisition of Conversion of Registration ("OPA") of shares.

As disclosed in the Tender Offer Notice, the prices offered by Neoenergia S.A. ("Neoenergia") were R$42.02 (forty-two reais and two cents) for ON and PNA shares, and R$46.22 (forty-six reais and twenty-two cents) for PNB shares.

The OPA was carried out through an auction held at B3 S.A. - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão on today's date, and the auction will be settled on October 5, 2022, when Eletrobras will receive the amount of BRL 49,033,521.96 (forty-nine million, thirty-three thousand, five hundred and twenty-one reais and ninety-six cents).

The sale of these shares is contemplated in Eletrobras's Minority Equity Disposal Plan, disclosed to the market through a Relevant Fact on November 25, 2021 and is within the scope of the initiative to sell interests in associated companies, under the terms of the Master Plan and Management ("PDNG 2022-2026"), disclosed to the market through a Relevant Fact on December 17, 2021.
