Occupation of the Vice President of Engineering for Expansion

Rio de Janeiro, January 02, 2024, Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A - Eletrobras, in addition to the market announcement released on December 08, 2023, informs that, on this date, Mr. Robson Pinheiro Rodrigues de Campos took office as the Company's Vice President of Engineering for Expansion.

Mr. Robson Pinheiro Rodrigues de Campos is a lawyer graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, graduated in Finance from IBMEC and holds a master's degree in management from Georgetown University. He began his career at Wartsila, where he remained from 1990 to 2016 holding positions such as controllership manager, senior business development manager, executive director of energy for Mercosul and, finally, as president and CEO of the Brazilian operation. From 2020 to December 2023, he held the position of CEO of the Brazilian engineering and construction operation of the Chilean group Sigdo Koppers.
