Charter Hall Group announced that it has appointed Anastasia Clarke as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Russell Proutt who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Ms Clarke takes on the role, as well as joining the Charter Hall Executive Committee, having recently announced her resignation as CFO at GPT Group. Ms Clarke has a deep understanding of all aspects of real estate, including listed corporations, funds management, investment, asset management, development and construction, that supports this appointment.

Ms Clarke is a current Board Director of the Property Council of Australia and a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW). She was previously a member of the Western Sydney University Audit & Risk Committee. Ms Clarke holds a Bachelor of Accounting with Distinction from the University of Technology, Sydney and completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.

She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA). Ms Clarke will commence with the Group on 1 February 2024.
