Chia Chang Co., Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,560.01 million compared to TWD 2,146.96 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 201.09 million compared to TWD 238.44 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.41 compared to TWD 1.67 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.41 compared to TWD 1.67 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 2,977.45 million compared to TWD 4,370.52 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 324.35 million compared to TWD 389.52 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.28 compared to TWD 2.74 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.26 compared to TWD 2.72 a year ago.
Chia Chang Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the stamping business. The Company's main products are metal stamping bezels, metal stamping back covers, inverters, shielding, lamp covers, plates and brackets, among others. The Company's products are applied in the manufacture of mobile phones, notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, LCD televisions (TVs), computer peripheral products, automobile LCD monitors and industrial computers, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic and to overseas markets.
