Resignation of Supervisors

The board of supervisors (the "Board of Supervisors") of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation ("Sinopec Corp. " or the "Company") announces that due to their ages, each of Mr. Yang Changjiang and Mr. Zhang Baolong tendered his resignation as supervisor of Sinopec Corp. to the Board of Supervisors, with effect from 9 September 2020.

Each of Mr. Yang Changjiang and Mr. Zhang Baolong has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board of Supervisors and there are no other matters relating to their resignations as supervisors that need to be brought to the attention of shareholders of Sinopec Corp.

Mr. Yang Changjiang and Mr. Zhang Baolong are diligent and responsible during their tenures. The Board of Supervisors would like to express its gratitude to them for their hard working and contribution to the Company.
