  • 　　China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (CSCEC) was awarded PPP Project for Qingdao Subway Line 8 (Package B1) on February 8. The total investment amount of the Project is RMB38.7 billion, of which, CSCEC shares some RMB16.2 billion.
    The Qingdao Subway Line 8 starts from Jiaozhou North Station and ends at Wusi Plaza. With the overall length of the main line being 60km, the train is designed to be 120km/h in speed. It is the rapid backbone line linking Qingdao New Airport, North Shore urban area, and East Shore and connecting such 5 administrative areas as Jiaozhou City, Hongdao Hi-tech Zone, Licang District, Shibei District and Shinan District. It is, in addition, a core subway line in Qingdao ever with the biggest investment, the longest line and the most populous people involved. (from Infrastructure Operations)
