From August 2 to 3,2023, ZHANG Xingliao, President of CYPC, and his delegation visited the Chinese Ambassador to Peru and the Minister of Energy and Mines of Peru. Whereafter, they held discussions and exchanges with representatives of some Chinese-funded enterprises in Peru.

On the morning of August 2, ZHANG Xingliao visited SONG Yang, the Chinese Ambassador to Peru, and expressed his gratitude for the assistance and support provided by the Chinese Embassy in Peru to CYPC over the years. ZHANG Xingliao introduced the basic information and main business of CYPC, as well as the Company's business development in Peru. He stated that CYPC considers Peru as one of the most suitable countries for investment in the South American region. CYPC will continue to steadily advance investments in Peru's clean energy sector, and deepen cooperation in global energy sector, so as to advocate for green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, and promote cultural integration and exchange.

On the afternoon of August 2, ZHANG Xingliao visited Oscar Vera, the Minister of Energy and Mines of Peru. Both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion regarding topics such as "how to invest in renewable energy for sustainable development" and "the adoption and continuous improvement of new technologies in the renewable energy sector". ZHANG Xingliao said that CYPC will leverage its partnership with LDS to contribute Chinese strength to promote and develop renewable energy and smart grids in Peru, which aims to drive the transition towards a low-carbon and efficient energy mode, while promoting sustainable development for human society.
Chief Legal Adviser, and Assistant President of CYPC attended the visiting activities. Other participants included personnel from relevant functional departments of CYPC and CYPI.
