Chip Hope Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 248.769 million compared to TWD 556.839 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 49.147 million compared to TWD 11.410 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 49.983 million compared to TWD 8.749 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.74 compared to TWD 0.13 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 452.985 million compared to TWD 1,025.633 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 121.882 million compared to TWD 30.434 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 127.716 million compared to TWD 27.740 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.9 compared to TWD 0.41 a year ago.
CHIP HOPE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturer and sales of memory products and integrated circuit (IC) application products. The Company's memory products include various flash memory cards, which are applied in cell phones, computers, digital cameras, as well as other information and electronic products. The Companyâs IC application products consist of personal computer ICs (including universal serial bus (USB) keyboard ICs, USB optical mouse ICs, USB wireless keyboard and mouse ICs) and communication ICs, which are applied in caller identification, wireless telephone chipsets and telephone answering machines.
