Clean Power Hydrogen appoints Paul Cassidy as CTO

Clean Power Hydrogen PLC - Doncaster, England-based green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company - Appoints Paul Cassidy as chief technical officer & director. Expects Cassidy's employment to be effective from March 22.

Cassidy joins from Johnson Matthey Catalyst Technologies, where he has been a technology manager since 2009. As CTO, he will be focused on getting the MFE220 into production for both CPH2 and licence holders.

Chief Executive Officer Jon Duffy says: "We are thrilled to have Paul joining as CTO of CPH2. Paul's extensive chemical engineering and licensing knowledge will help us to deliver on our existing order book in 2023, enhancing our structure and the increasingly strong indication of interest in our products that we are seeing."

Current stock price: 25.39 pence, down 2.4% in London on Thursday afternoon

Clean Power Hydrogen plc is a United Kingdom-based green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company. The Company has developed the intellectual property (IP)-protected Membrane-Free Electrolyser (MFE). The technology combines its MFE with cryogenic separation to deliver pure hydrogen and pure oxygen as separate gases. The technology is scalable for a variety of applications, and when supplied by renewable electricity, the technology delivers green hydrogen. It has developed a hydrogen and oxygen production system as a clean alternative to complement battery-power for electric vehicles, off-grid, and grid-based electricity storage. It serves various markets, including power, industry and manufacturing, transport and machinery, commercial and retail, and hydroculture markets. The Companyâs subsidiary is Clean Power Hydrogen Group Limited.
