(Alliance News) - Cofle Spa announced Friday that it has appointed Andrea Benettello as the company's new general manager, "marking a fundamental step in the company's evolution and reorganization strategy."

The appointment comes after a phase of collaboration as an external consultant that began about a year and a half ago, during which Benetello contributed significantly to the reorganization and modernization of the new logistics facility.

"This decision reflects Cofle's ongoing commitment to pursuing growth and innovation, objectives that are essential to consolidating the group's position in the industry," the company explained.

With solid experience in the automotive and special projects industry, Benetello brings strategic vision and deep technical and management expertise. His background in electrical engineering, combined with a proven track record in lean manufacturing, organizational management and goal orientation, "will strengthen the group's ability to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions."

Walter Barbieri, president and CEO of Cofle, commented on the recent appointment, "We welcome Benetello to our team and are excited about the opportunities this new phase of leadership will bring. His guidance will be essential in consolidating our corporate vision and continuing to build on our success."

Andrea Benetello emphasized, "I am proud to pursue this new managerial path, in a company that I have gotten to know in this first period as an external collaborator and that I believe is a growing and dynamic company."

Cofle's stock is up 0.7 percent at EUR7.60 per share.
