At this year's RSNA in Chicago, November 26-30, ContextVision puts their success story Altumira in the spotlight ? adding new, impressive features to an already exceptional image enhancement solution. ContextVision offers solutions for ultrasound, X-ray and MRI.

With a core business focus on image enhancement software designed to deliver unprecedented image quality, ContextVision is the global market leader and partner to leading OEMs, with solutions installed worldwide in more than 450,000 systems. Due to its superior imaging quality, ContextVision's technology leads to more rapid and confident diagnoses. One of ContextVision's most successful solutions is Altumira, a powerful software that draws on advanced AI to take digital X-ray images to a whole new level. Designed to address the many challenges of static and dynamic digital radiography, Altumira combines ContextVision's image enhancement technology with the latest breakthroughs in deep learning.

This year's RSNA sees the unveiling of updated versions of Altumira and Altumira Plus. Altumira now features impressive scatter correction functionality, for exceptional quality in images acquired without a physical grid. Powered by AI, the scatter correction feature offers flexible and efficient contrast, detail, and noise control.

This in turn enables improved workflow, enhanced efficiency, and a lower X-ray dose compared to images acquired with a grid. Altumira Plus - for dynamic imaging - will be upgraded with improved noise suppression and enhanced visualization of details, e.g., stents and vessels. These new features add value to interventional cardiovascular procedures performed with mobile c-arms and angiography systems.
