Countryside, the UK's leading mixed-tenure developer, has promoted Kevin Delve to Managing Director for its Partnerships South East London region.

Kevin, previously a commercial director, started his career at Countryside as an apprentice in 1998. In his time at the business, he has been focused on the delivery of various low and high-rise projects including Beam Park, Fresh Wharf and Elements, on the former Alma Estate.

In his role, Kevin will focus on maintaining the continued growth and success of the East London region, strengthening relationships with local partners and delivering best-in-class schemes.

Countryside continues to invest in its people. Currently, it has around 100 apprentices across the business, two-thirds of whom are employed directly and a third through third parties. This remains a key focus as it looks to tackle the skills shortage in the industry.

Mike Woolliscroft, Chief Executive, Partnerships South, commented, 'I'd like to congratulate Kevin for this well-earned promotion. He has played a crucial role in the success of some of our most esteemed schemes and his career progression is a testament to the talent and dedication we have cultivated within this business. I look forward to working closely with him in strengthening our long-standing and collaborative partnerships with housing associations and local authorities in the region, ensuring we deliver on our promises that serve the needs of the communities we are proud to work in.

'The social and economic impact of the work by the Partnerships division is undeniably vast and we remain committed to working with communities to bring to life some of the most complex projects into thriving places for people to live, work and play.'
