Cypark Resources Berhad (Cypark Resources) and RGFC Ventures Sdn Bhd (RGFC Ventures) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Business Exploration (MOBE) that marks a key milestone in its journey towards a greener and more sustainable future. This is aligned to the recent launching of National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) by the Government of Malaysia which has set an ambitious Renewable Energy (RE) target of 40% by 2035 and subsequently 70% by 2050. The realization of the RE target would need to be supported by each and every individual state in Malaysia to ensure the nation is on the right path and ready to make it happen.

The MOBE, signed between Cypark Resources and RGFC Ventures solidifies its commitment to harnessing the power of solar energy and other sources of Renewable Energy to drive positive environmental impact and promote sustainable business practices. Cypark Resources is selected as the strategic partner of RGFC Ventures, the business and investment arm of Selangor FC, that is mandated to generate non- football revenue for the club. RGFC Ventures is chaired by DYTM Tengku Amir Shah, Raja Muda Selangor, whose vision is to transform Selangor football towards a modern, professional, and financially sustainable football club.

In achieving its ambition to become financially sustainable, DYTM Raja MudaSelangor and RGFC Ventures will explore the vast potential of non- football revenue, kickstarting it with RE. DYTM Raja Mud Selangor himself is passionate and committed towards clean environments, sustainability initiatives for Selangor. RGFC Ventures' direction to diversify revenue is necessary for the longer-term economic sustenance of the football club.

Coupled with Selangor state's ambition to achieve its sustainability targets, this collaboration with Cypark Resources aims to maximise all possible opportunities to expedite the realization of a cleaner environment in alignment with the national target through leveraging on collective strengths amongst corporates and the state agencies. Cypark Resources is committed to be the strategic partner of RGFC Venture in assisting the club's sustainability plans and delivering Selangor's state energy transition initiatives.
