Daikoku Denki Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter of fiscal year ending March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 17,996 million compared to JPY 20,187 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 375 million compared to JPY 605 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 493 million compared to JPY 706 million a year ago. Net income attributable to equities of parent was JPY 296 million or JPY 20.03 per share compared to JPY 329 million or JPY 22.27 per share a year ago.
The company affirms earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 39,000 million, operating income of JPY 1,300 million, ordinary income of JPY 1,300 million and net income of JPY 800 million or JPY 54.12 per share.
