Daikoku Denki Co. Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 38,931 million compared to JPY 44,657 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,546 million compared to JPY 4,223 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 1,656 million compared to JPY 4,315 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 632 million or JPY 42.81 per share compared to JPY 2,747 million or JPY 185.87 per share a year ago.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, the company expects net sales of JPY 45,000 million, operating loss of JPY 1,500 million, ordinary loss of JPY 1,400 million, net loss of JPY 1,600 million or JPY 108.23 per basic share.
