Dainichi Co., Ltd. announced financial results for the year ended March 31, 2020. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 18,826 million against JPY 19,007 million for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 180 million against JPY 561 million for the same period a year ago. Profit was JPY 116 million against JPY 387 million for the same period a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 7.19 per share against JPY 22.64 per share for the same period a year ago.
Dainichi Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of oil heating equipment, environmental equipment and coffee makers. The Company's products include kerosene heaters, such as oil fan heaters for household use and fuel stoves for business use; environmental equipment, such as humidifiers; coffee makers, coffee beans roasting equipment, smoke making machines, photosynthesis promotion machines and horticulture heaters, among others.
