DDD Group plc, the advanced imaging company, announces that GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd. ('GIGABYTE') has launched a range of PC motherboards incorporating GenMe's TriDef® SmartCam™ software. The new motherboards are being demonstrated by GIGABYTE at its venue located at the Palace Ballroom in Caesars Palace during CES 2017, which runs from January 5th to 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At CES 2017, GIGABYTE will unveil their newest Gaming Series Motherboards, AORUS Motherboards. The AORUS Gaming Series focuses on personalization and customization; these unique characteristics are brought out through the use of RGB LEDs via RGB Fusion and Smart Fan Control through the Smart Fan 5 application. GIGABYTE's AORUS Gaming Series motherboards are made for gamers and enthusiasts looking for a solution that fits their needs and support the latest Intel Z270 Express and H270 chipsets for 6th and 7th generation Intel® Core™ processors.

GIGABYTE's range of AORUS gaming notebooks already feature TriDef SmartCam and the inclusion of TriDef SmartCam with the new motherboard series significantly expands the number of GIGABYTE customers who will be able to take their game streaming and video chat experience one step further.

The integration of TriDef SmartCam results in a much simpler chroma key solution using a normal webcam. TriDef SmartCam delivers revolutionary background removal without the need for an expensive lighting setup and green screen. Game players can now overlay themselves onto the game video very easily and quickly to further personalize their game content made with popular gamecasting and webcasting apps including XSplit Gamecaster, XSplit Broadcaster, OBS Classic and OBS Studio.

The TriDef SmartCam software also include the TriDef SmartBlur feature that provides additional privacy and security on video conference calls. Instead of replacing the background, the SmartBlur feature blurs it while keeping the conference call participant in clear focus.

In addition to support for popular gamecasting and webcasting apps, TriDef SmartCam is compatible with over 30 leading video chat apps including ooVoo, Line and QQ.

After a ninety day free trial, users will be able to purchase TriDef SmartCam for US$14.99.

Chris Yewdall, Chief Executive of DDD, said:

Henry Kao, Vice President of GIGABYTE's Motherboard Business Unit, said:

GIGABYTE will always be at the forefront of technology, because of this we want to show the world what we've been working on and who we've been working with. Applications like TriDef SmartCam stimulate more innovation and uses for GIGABYTE Motherboards and help shape future technologies to come.
