(Alliance News) - "The last few years have been characterized by an alignment of the marketing offering, technology capabilities and strategic direction. We started as a marketing company and now the company has totally changed: now we have an integrated marketing, technology and e-commerce offer."

This was stated by Simone Ranucci Brandimarte, president of DigiTouch, interviewed during the Next Gems event at the headquarters of Borsa Italiana in Milan, where Alliance News is a media partner.

The company's client portfolio includes medium and large-sized ones and strong growth ambitions in both the private and public sectors for the future, as evidenced by the recently published half-yearly results. One of the innovations in recent years has been DigiTouch's entry into public tenders: "In 2019, public administration weighed 0 percent in our income statement while now we are talking about 10 percent. It is now the fourth largest sector for our group and next year it will be the third," Ranucci Brandimarte added.

On the supply side, it has been strategic for the company to integrate services: "Winning is the integration of marketing, technology and e-commerce, so don't present yourself to the market as a specialist by sector but put them together. In a market where investment in these three areas is increasing, having an integrated offering is the point of differentiation."

DigiTouch's clients need three things: integrated approach, suppliers with greater critical mass so the size of the proposing party is important, and flexibility. "We work directly with large customers 90 percent of the time, but we are also flexible to do partnerships with third parties."

"My outlook on this year is positive: we have already announced an Ebitda between EUR7.5-8 million this year; we presented a turnover in the half-yearly report of EUR20 million in important growth compared to last year; and we have already given our longterm target of EUR100 million turnover and EUR15 million Ebitda to 2026," Ranucci Brandimarte continued.

Presenting figures for the 2022 budget, DigiTouch had explained that it planned to foster the growth of internal resources that have contributed to the successes of these years by promoting the growth of talent through innovation and sustainability projects.

As such, the company relocated to Rome, Milan, and then Catania. "It was probably the smartest move from a talent point of view: now we have 40 people who are still growing and could become 100 in the short term. Having relocated to the South I think was strategic for a company like ours but also an important contribution to the growth of the country system. Sustainability side we have always been first mover and now we are finalizing the certification on gender equality and ensuring that it is real."

The growth for the next few years and to reach the 2026 targets set will be 50 percent organic and 50 percent M&A: "We have already identified the targets and they are integrated in the three areas we are dealing with. The process will be straightforward, we are able to proceed with most of the acquisitions with internal resources, if later in this path I need to provide us with additional capital we will think about it."
