Dominion Energy : Partners with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) to Launch the Building Hispanic Talent Initiative.

The Building Hispanic Talent Initiative will provide funding to seven participating post-secondary institutions to work with HACU to implement a Summer Bridge program for pre-college students. It will offer a seven-week educational opportunity for up to 60 high school students (9^th-12^th grade) at each participating institution, impacting more than 1,250 students and their families.

The Goals:

• Increase the number of Hispanic students who are aware of and interested in pursuing careers in STEM and clean energy
• Share information about careers at Dominion Energy.

In addition to promoting careers in energy, the initiative will also allow students to experience life on a university campus. Each student will receive credit in college-level courses in engineering, business, cybertechnology and biotechnology.

This initiative will begin in the summer of 2022. We will announce information on how to apply in the spring.
