Dongwha Thailand Co., Ltd announced that it will issue 1,152,000 shares at a price of KRW 3,425 for gross proceeds of KRW 3,945,600,000 on August 22, 2018. The transaction will include participation from existing investor Dongwha Enterprise Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A025900) to retain its 60% stake. The transaction is expected to close on September 7, 2018. Post closing, the investor will hold 1,164,000 shares in the company. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of investor. The company has reported total assets and total capital of KRW 67,000,000 for the year ended December 31, 2017.

Through its subsidiaries, the Company operates in three businesses: materials business, which mainly engages in the manufacture of floor boards; housing business, which mainly engages in the provision of laminate floors, construction services and design services, and car life business, which engages in the sales of used cars, as well as leasing of non-residential buildings. On July 1, 2014, it merged with wholly owned subsidiary, WON CHANG TRADING.CO., LTD, engaged in the leasing business.
