DuPont de Nemours, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 3,317 million compared to USD 3,199 million a year ago. Net income was USD 367 million compared to USD 391 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.73 compared to USD 0.75 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 0.73 compared to USD 0.75 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 9,913 million compared to USD 9,320 million a year ago. Net income was USD 1,642 million compared to USD 6,263 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.81 compared to USD 1.86 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.8 compared to USD 1.86 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 3.25 compared to USD 11.35 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 3.24 compared to USD 11.32 a year ago.
DuPont de Nemours, Inc. specializes in the manufacture and marketing of specialty chemicals. The group provides copolymers, polyethylene, chloroform, fluorine, hydrofluoric acid, copper, hydroxylamine, precious metals, alumina hydroxide, ammonia, benzene, polyester fibers, propylene, wood pulp, acids, alcohols, chlorite, aldehydes, ethylene oxide, etc.
