The Grants Pass, Oregon-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 4 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 2 cents per share.

The drive-thru coffee chain operator and franchisor posted revenue of $254.1 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $254.8 million.

For the year, the company reported net income of $10 million, or 3 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $965.8 million.

Dutch Bros expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.19 billion to $1.21 billion.

Dutch Bros shares have decreased 15% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $27.04, a fall of 28% in the last 12 months.
