Last night, OLGroupe unveiled its financial statements for the first half of its 2022/23 financial year, which showed a 16% increase in revenues to 134.8 million euros.

The soccer club emphasized that all revenue lines were up, despite its failure to qualify for the European Cup.

Gross operating income (EBITDA) was nevertheless negative at -23.7 million euros, impacted in particular by the rise in business and operating expenses and the increase in personnel costs.

Throughout the half-year, OL Groupe continued to make progress on all its projects, in particular the construction of the LDLC Arena, which is due to go into operation at the end of 2023.

At the same time, on December 19, Eagle Football finalized the acquisition of 77.49% of OL Groupe's share capital and subscribed to a reserved capital increase in the amount of 86 million euros.

Finally, pre-tax income for the first half of the 2022/23 financial year totaled -61.3 million euros (-28 million euros at December 31, 2021). Group share of net income consequently came to -60.2 million euros, compared with -27.1 million a year earlier.
