(Alliance News) - East Imperial PLC on Friday said that Finance Director Andrew Robertson is due to step down from his position, as well as from his role as a director.

According to the New Zealand-based tonic waters and mixers producer, Robertson will step down with effect from February 16.

Meanwhile, Graham Duncan has joined the firm as a non-board chief financial officer on a part-time basis. Duncan is a UK-based accountant with "extensive capital markets and financial reporting experience".

Further, Ciali de Jager has been appointed as financial controller. East Imperial said that de Jager, who will be based in Auckland, has "highly relevant sector experience".

"We wish Andrew well in his new pursuits, and we are delighted to welcome Graham and Ciali, who will create a solid international team that reflects our corporate structure and global business plan," said Chief Executive Officer Tony Burt.

East Imperial shares were trading 1.1% lower at 1.09 pence each in London on Friday morning.
