Econpile Holdings Berhad Announces Re-Designation of Krishnan A/L C K Menon from Independent Director to Non-Independent Director

Econpile Holdings Berhad announced the re-designation of Mr. Krishnan A/L C K Menon, age 73, from Independent Director to Non-Independent Director of the company. The date of change is October 18, 2023. Mr. Menon has served as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Company for a cumulative term of more than nine years.

The re-designation is to comply with Practice 5.3 of the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, whereby the tenure of an independent director shall not exceed a term limit of nine years.
