eGalax_eMPIA Technology Inc. (GTSM:3556) agreed to acquire Aveo Multimedia Corporation on September 12, 2013. Under the terms of the deal, one share of a subsidiary of eGalax_eMPIA Technology can be exchanged for 0.54 share of Aveo, and totally 5.4 million new shares will be issued to shareholders of Aveo. After the merger, subsidiary of eGalax_eMPIA Technology will survive and Aveo Multimedia Corporation will be dissolved.
The effective date of the transaction is November 30, 2013.
