Chilectra S.A. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported operating revenues of CLP 297,161 million against CLP 246,440 million a year ago. Operating income was CLP 31,584 million against CLP 29,184 million a year ago.

Payments for additions of fixed assets were CLP 14,375 million against CLP 9,138 million a year ago. Operating income representing an increase of CLP 2,400 million compared to the same period of 2014, or 8.2%. The variance is mainly due to higher operating revenues for CLP 50,721 million, due to higher energy sales of CLP 41,087 million as a result of higher physical sales an increase in the rate to regulated customers and due to higher recognition due to re-settlement of the non-applied average Node Price decrees and to greater other procurements of services for CLP 10,236 million mainly due to higher revenues due to transmission tolls with generators for CLP 6,952 million and leases and maintenance of public lighting and the installation of networks and other services for CLP 3,284 million.
