Equipmake Holdings PLC - Norfolk, England-based manufacturer and developer of electrification products for use across the automotive, aerospace, bus, coach and fire truck industries - Says it has designed, developed, and manufactured a fully electric drivetrain for a long-range electric flying boat, SpiritBARTech35EF, alongside yacht design and build experts Spirit Yachts, and advanced marine engineering specialist BAR Technologies. Says project is the first time its electrification products have been used in the electric marine market, which is estimated to be worth around USD16.6 billion by 2030. Adds it is exploring further opportunities to collaborate with BAR Technologies.
