Essentra plc (the 'Company') today announces that Jack Clarke has informed the Board of his decision to retire as Chief Financial Officer ('CFO') and Executive Director of the Company.

Jack will continue in his role until a successor is in place to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities and, in line with Jack's retirement plans, the Company expects him to leave no later than 31 March 2025. The Company has commenced a search, of both internal and external candidates, for Jack's successor.

Jack joined the Company in April 2022 as an experienced CFO and, during his tenure, he has completed the strategic reviews and transitional arrangements that led to the successful sale of the Company's Packaging and Filters businesses, and the subsequent launch of Essentra as a pure-play Components business.

Paul Lester, Chair of the Board said 'On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Jack for his contribution and support in driving the Company forward. Jack's experience and knowledge have provided the continuity required by the business and the Board and I wish Jack well for his retirement.'

Scott Fawcett, CEO, said 'I want to express my appreciation for Jack's counsel since I stepped into the role of CEO. Jack has played a pivotal role in engaging with our shareholders and provided guidance to both me and the Company. I would like to wish him all the best for his upcoming retirement.'
