The Alabama State Bar and Alabama Associated General Contractors (AGC) will host their Alabama State Bar and Alabama AGC Construction Industry Summit in Birmingham, Alabama, on December 1, 2021. The 8th Annual Construction Industry Summit will address a wide range of topics, including recognizing and avoiding construction risks; analyzing, documenting, and resolving construction claims; new and evolving construction industry technology; construction opportunities under new federal infrastructure legislation; and ethics for construction professionals.
Cliff D. Bishop, Ph.D., S.E., P.E., Exponent managing engineer, will speak on "Understanding FEMA's New National Risk Index: How to Reduce Weather-Related Risks on Construction Projects" on Wednesday, December 1, at 10:25 AM CT/8:25 AM PT.
Additionally, Sam Amoroso, Ph.D., P.E., S.E., Exponent managing engineer, will be in attendance.
