Fasadgruppen’s vision is to create sustainable façades and so contribute to a more sustainable and enduring society with beautiful buildings and a good living environment for people. As a step in its continued work with sustainability, Fasadgruppen has now joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative.

By joining Global Compact, Fasadgruppen supports and commits itself to operate in accordance with Global Compact’s ten principles on human rights, labour law, the environment and anti-corruption. The principles are based on the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

Fasadgruppen’s sustainability work is since before connected to the UN sustainable development goals. To integrate the Global Compact principles in the operations is a prioritised and important part of Fasadgruppen’s continued work to conduct a repsonsible business. Through continous improvement of processes, an environmentally adapted core offering and a focused work within health and safety, Fasadgruppen conrtibutes to a sustainable society.

Pål Warolin, CEO of Fasadgruppen said: ”As the largest façade company in the Nordic region, we also want to be a role model in our industry in regards of sustainable development. It therefore feels like a natural next step to now join the UN Global Compact initiative.”
