(Alliance News) - Feedback PLC on Thursday said that it has secured funding for another Community Diagnostic Centre pathway pilot with the Oldham CDC, run by the Northern Care Alliance.

According to the clinical infrastructure specialist, the funding is for a total of GBP50,000. It follows two pilot sites: one in Amersham, and one in a pan-regional pilot across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

The contract reflects advisory services that Feedback provides to Oldham CDC, it said, in relation to pathways development and the deployment of its symptom-based pathway tool, Bleepa.

Once unspecified initial milestones have been reached, the firm will support Oldham CDC in applying for more funding from the 2024 to 2025 NHS budget, in order to extend the pilot with a view to installing Bleepa.

"We are focused on further demonstrating the impact of a pathway approach on CDC utilisation and wider patient wait times - by providing multiple service lines and mutual aid delivery models for sharing workforce capacity at a regional basis through the Bleepa platform. We continue to have a number of discussions at the local, regional and national levels with NHS bodies and anticipate further updates in the coming months," said Chief Executive Officer Tom Oakley.

Feedback shares were trading 4.2% lower at 115.00 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
